CRDP is a restoration of retired pay - as such, it can not be more than your retired pay attributed to length of service. In your case, your 20 yr retirement of $2400.

Currently 90% gets me 2001.00 Since I have SMC(k). So that I am clear, if I become 100% I will be getting 2400 dollars a month, not 3K since my retired pay is only 2,400. Fighting for 1K give alot...

HSCM, I think you have it wrong -- that is, it sounds to me like you have it wrong, I could be misinterpreting your words. Your VA Compensation amount is separate and distinct from your retired pay....

I have a twist to this.  I was medically retired after 27.5 years for ALS.  I retired 24 Sept 2012 with a 100% AF rating.  Using that rating, (75% max) they came out with a Gross retirement amount....

Yes, that is exactly what it is...but why put me a thru a 9 month MEB to give me full medical retirement (75%), when I can only be paid for the actual TIS?  makes no sense.
